COMM 124ACritical Design Practice/Advanced Studio

This hands-on course introduces design as social and political transformation. In it, students will learn to analyze how designed objects and environments entail political assumptions and choices, working in groups to design an intervention into some aspect of collective life that concerns them. It will include a mixture of lectures and studio-based activities.
