An advanced production course which emphasizes how artists and filmmakers approach “otherness” and “difference” as it is constructed in various media practices. Course will examine a wide range of forms and genres such as ethnography, science fiction, crime narratives, documentary film, and animated shorts. Two production-course limitation.
