Approaching digital editing from a theoretical perspective. How does manipulation work with and against claims of truth in photography? How have artists used image manipulation toward conceptual means? Students will learn advanced editing techniques in Photoshop while learning about the political, social, and personal implications of the altered image landscape. Two production-course limitation.
