TDMV 148Intermediate Hip-Hop
This course is designed to build on the skills developed in TDMV 138, Hip-Hop, also deepening students’ understanding of the social, political, and economic forces at work within hip-hop culture. More complex rhythms and sequencing will be introduced, and musicality will be honed through an added emphasis on freestyle expression. May be taken for credit four times.
