SIOG 228Research Seminar
A three-quarter required sequence for the BS/MS in marine biology, geosciences, and ocean and atmospheric sciences students to prepare for the undergraduate-to-graduate transition and thesis preparation. The course will cover fundamental issues in academia, including campus resources, research design, scientific publishing, and how to write and defend an MS thesis. The course will also support community building and networking among the current BS/MS students at SIO.
