SIO 10GSThe Earth (In Iceland)
This Global Seminar course will provide an introduction to planet Earth and the processes that shape it. Topics to be covered include Earth layers, materials, plate tectonics, weathering and erosion, and coastal processes. The geology of Iceland will be a specific emphasis and will thus be used as a lens through which to learn about the Earth. Program or material fee may apply.
