PHYS 2DLPhysics Laboratory—Modern Physics
Experiments to be chosen from refraction, diffraction and interference of microwaves, Hall effect, thermal band gap, optical spectra, coherence of light, photoelectric effect, e/m ratio of particles, radioactive decays, and plasma physics. One hour lecture and three hours laboratory. Program or materials fees may apply.
Prerequisites
From the catalog: “PHYS 2BL or 2CL . Recommended preparation: prior or concurrent enrollment in PHYS 2D or 4E.”
