PH 221Writing Successful Dissertation Research Grants
This course is designed to increase students’ knowledge, confidence, and capabilities in crafting scientific research proposals to support their dissertation research and post-doctoral careers. This includes the study of successful, funded applications; readings and discussions designed to enhance awareness of funding opportunities; exercises that enable students to understand and critique applications; and a series of writing assignments that will culminate in a proposal ready for submission.
