MAE 230Introduction to Photonics
The objectives of this course are twofold—to provide students with an understanding of the fundamental concepts of photonics and to provide students with insights into state-of-the-art research and technology in the area of photonics. After successful completion of the class, students will be able to mathematically describe basic phenomena in photonics.
