LTSP 150AEarly Latino/a-Chicano/a Cultural Production: 1848 to 1960
(Cross-listed with ETHN 135A.) Cross-disciplinary study of nineteenth- and early twentieth-century Latino/a-Chicano/a literature, folklore, music, testimonio, or other cultural practices. Specific periods covered will fall between the immediate aftermath of the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo to the Cuban revolution. LTSP 150A and ETHN 135A may be taken for credit for a combined total of two times.
