India is the largest country in the world with one of the largest and fastest growing economies. This course is designed to provide an academic foundation for the present economic opportunities and challenges facing India, to immerse students in the unique historical and cultural context of the Indian economy, and discuss ways the government and private sector can jointly fuel India’s economic growth in the next quarter century.
