Cultural heritage is a human right that is threatened by climate change. This course introduces students to the concept of heritage, how multiple historical and ancient processes influence social vulnerabilities, and what challenges are being faced in the context of changing climate. We will explore the formation and meanings of tangible and intangible heritage, its relation to traditional knowledge and the roles of knowledge over social vulnerability.
